1. What Cookies We Use
Pimithi uses two categories of storage on your device:
- Essential — a single local storage entry that remembers your cookie consent choice. Without it, we couldn't honor your decision. It is always active and contains no personal data.
- Analytics (optional) — Google Analytics cookies (such as
_ga) and Microsoft Clarity cookies (such as_clckand_clsk), set only if you accept analytics. They help these services distinguish returning visitors so we can see aggregate usage statistics.
2. Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity
We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2, and Microsoft Clarity for anonymous usage insights. Before you make a choice — and if you reject — analytics storage stays denied and neither service is loaded at all. Advertising-related storage is always denied: Pimithi does not use advertising.
When enabled, we record only which pages are viewed. We never send search queries, tool inputs, generated values (such as passwords), page titles, or any personal information. Admin pages are never tracked.
3. Purpose
Analytics tells us which tools people find useful so we can prioritize improvements and new tools. That's the entire purpose — no profiling, no ads, no data sales.
4. Consent
On your first visit you'll see a banner with equal choices: "Accept analytics" or "Reject non-essential". Nothing optional runs until you decide, and your decision is stored locally on your device so the banner doesn't reappear.
5. Withdrawing Consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: click "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page, toggle Analytics off, and save. Analytics stops immediately — no page refresh required. You can also clear your browser's cookies and site data to remove any previously set analytics cookies.
